Brooklyn Navy Yard Bus Tour

Join us for a peek behind the walls at the Brooklyn Navy Yard

Tour Description: This bus tour provides an overview of the fascinating stories of the Brooklyn Navy Yard's past, present, and future.  At stops along the way, we hop off the bus to get a closer look at the yard's most intriguing sites, including a dry dock used since before the Civil War, the navy hospital that's been empty for decades, and the nation's first multi-story, multi-tenant, LEED-certified industrial building.  This tour is co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation and the Brooklyn Historical Society.

Tour guide gestures outward as three people look out. In the background, there are two large cranes, Wallabout Bay, and tall buildings in the distance.

Length: Approx. 2 hours.
